GMRS Radio Operations
Clicking the title link above provides a full tutorial on how to navigate the FCC websites to get your GMRS License directly online. You first obtain an FCC Registration Number ("FRN") from one site, than go to a second FCC.gov website, fill out the online forms, and than to pay for your $35 for a 10-year license online at the end. If perfectly executed you may then download your new License and call sign as a PDF. In the real world you may find yourself cursing uncontrollably. But fear not — we will also post a video that will provide additional help.
