The GMRS-50V2 is a 50 Watt solid professional mobile or base radio to support the Island wide GMRS network.  It also provides residents and people who travel frequently a higher power radio supports and external vehicle or base station antenna to provide more reliable connectivity to remote GMRS repeaters in the area during general communications outages.
