SEA Projects

The following SEA Projects are loosely part of an existing and evolving multi phased approach to support Boca Grande Fire Control District (“BGFCD”) Island Emergency Communications and Interoperability Project.

• BGFCD Auxiliary Communications Project
  Currently funded and in process SEA effort to provide redundancy to the communication systems on the newly reconstructed Boca Grande Tower by placing dual GMRS/ Amateur repeaters on the BBMA building and GIBA Bridge House, which are the highest most durable structures on the south and north end of Gasparilla Island. Also includes deployment of multiple high power base and  mobile stations as well as a cache of  handheld radio's at the Boca Grand Fire Station, the Island School, and the Health Clinic.
